Hello, welcome to Dinma’s world. I am glad that you had the opportunity to visit this blog today. It includes posts about Poetry, Spirituality, words of encouragement and other life issues. I use it as an outlet for my feelings and emotions and hopefully to inspire, give hope and bring smiles to people’s face.
My name is Chidinma but I go by Precious because people find it difficult to pronounce it. I am a Nigerian, basically south east which is where I spent the first 15 years of my life before I moved to the United States. I speak two languages; Igbo and English.

That is some of the basic English Language and how to say it in Igbo (my first language)
I am a Christian and I believe in God but I also like to share and talk about other views and beliefs. I am a Pisces by birth and my birth date happened to be special because it has same numbers (03/03/03). I am an introvert who loves staying indoors. I am very organized and to me everything has a place. I love babies a lot!! which is why I decided to major in Nursing so I can Specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology. By God’s Grace I would be a freshman in college by the fall of 2020.
Some of my hobbies include reading (I read a lot and some of them are romance novels, don’t ask why), praying, listening to music and playing video games. I don’t really have a good taste in music but some of my favorite artists are; Celine Dion, Tatiana Manaois and Micheal Jackson. I also listen to Gospel songs a lot.
There are a lot of things I wished I knew how to do but I don’t. Swimming is one of them. I am not really scared of water. But I Just don’t know how to swim.

That’s me trying to swim……LOL
Cooking is also something I love doing. I took a cooking class in the senior year of my high school, and I was able to learn how to make different cuisines from other cultures apart from mine. I loved the cooking class because, we cooked a lot and my teacher was a free spirited person, she was kind enough to let me cook in the kitchen some times after school, when I stayed back.

The food photos by the left are some of the Nigerian meals I know how to make, and the food photos by the right are some of the recipes I learnt in my cooking class and I am glad I did.
There are other Nigerian recipes that I would love to share with you as you decide to become part of this small family. But before that you can check this for more delicious recipes. I would also love to try new recipes, so feel free to give me suggestions.
Through this blog, I would love to build a family where a lot of interest are portrayed, and the world explored through written contents and shared opinions.
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to get to know me a little better!
